It was a dark Friday night and a forergn exchange student by the name of Yuki Mamiya was walking home from school. She has long raven hair all pick up in two heart shape buns and blue eyes. She have a thin build to her and medium size chest. She was very pretty for a 16 year old. She wore a white t-shirt with a Patamon print on it, blue jean and whited keds. She also had on her back a panda bear backpack. She was 5'4. She decide to take a short cut thru the wood and unknowing that her life was about to change fo the better. She enter the wood and unafraid of all the animal noises she heard. She walked on but as she walked she had a funny feeling that she was being watch.. She was right, she was being watched by none other then Ax. He watched this human girl very careful but trying not to make a sound.

"I wonder who is human is?" Ax though to himself.

Yuki keep on walking and finally she came to the clearing.

"Good no more woods." Yuki said with a sigh and stopped to caught her breathe.

Ax walked on but as he reached the end and stepped on a branch. It snap and Yuki here it.

She turned around and said, "Who ever you come out so I can see you?

"Don't be scared I mean you no harm." Ax said as he walked out of the wood and saw Yuki.

Yuki saw Ax and said, "Hi."

Ax looked like a cross between a small horse and human. He had blue tan fur all over his body. He had long face with two eyes stalk on the top of his head with eyes inside of them. He had green eyes no nose but three little slits where is mouth was. His upper body was human but his hand had too many fingers. He looked pretty until you see his tail. His tail was long and strong. At the end of the tail a curved blade at the end kinda like a scorpion.

Ok sure.

"Hello miss." Ax said in thought-speak.

Yuki was shocked to hear a voice in her head.

"How can you do that? This is too much for me." Yuki said as her eyes rolled back into her head and she fainted.

She fell back and fell to the ground. Ax watched as the girl fall back and walked closer to her.

Staring at her reaction and said,"Hmm strange."

He kneeled down and reach over. He grabbed Yuki's shoulder and begain to shake her. Yuki didn't repond and Ax moved his hand way. He put it under his chin like he saw his human friends do and thinked.

"Maybe Cassie would know what to do?" Ax asked himself in thought-speak.

He reached over and pick up the fainted girl and carried gently in his arm like he would do a baby. He galloped as fast as his 4 legs would carry him over to Cassie's barn AKA Reliabilation Center.

He enter the old barn and found Cassie calming a injured great horned owl. Cassie was a wearing a blue overall with a red flannel shirt and with tan boots. She is a pretty teen black girl. She heard the sound of Ax's hooves and turned around.

"Hi Ax." Cassies said.

"Hello Cassie, I need your help." Ax said in thought-speak.

She saw what Ax need help with and roconized the Japanese girl in his arms.

"What happen to Yuki?" Cassie asked her alien friend.

"I found walking thru the forest and when she took one good look at me and she fell down." Ax explained in thought-speak.

Yuki started to come around and said, "Where am I?"

Ax looked at her and said in thought-speak, "At Cassie's barn. I brought you here after your fall."

Yuki looked up and saw Ax's looking at her.

"What ever you do don't scream?" Cassied warned her.

Yuki looked at Ax again and did what Cassie told her no to do. She let out a loud scream and Ax move his hand from under her. He quickly covered her mouth with his many fingers. She contiuned to scream thru the hand and Cassie reach over. She grabbed her and Yuki's hand.

She got it a pat and said, "It's ok Yuki Mamiya! Ax wouldn't hurt you."

Yuki calmed down a little and looked at Cassie.

"I'm going to remove my hand from your mouth, Yuki. So no more screaming. Ok?" Ax asked gently in thought-speak.

Yuki nodded and Ax moved his blue tan hand away. He put her down on the floor and Yuki said nothing. She ran over to her friend Cassie and stold next to her.

Ax looked at her with his two eye-stalks and asked in thought-speak, "Why were you walking thru the woods?"

"I was taking a short cut to get here." Yuki said calmly.

"Do the people you stay with know you were out late?" Cassie asked her.

Yuki looked at her black friend and put her hands on her hips.

"Oh right. I forgot." Cassie said.

Ax saw Yuki and saw the genture. So tried to imiated it by doing it himself. He put the hands on his hips too.

Yuki looked at Ax mocking her and said, "Hey no mocking me."

Ax tilted his blue tan head to the side like he seen his human friends do. Cassie looked at Ax and laught at him. Yuki heard Cassie laugh and looked at her.

"What's so funny Cassie-chan?" Yuki asked her.

"Look at Ax." Cassie said still laugh.

Yuki looked at him and saw he was move his head from side to side. She started to laugh too.

Ax stopped moving his head and asked to the girls in though-speak,"Did miss something here? Why are you two laughing?

They looked at him and said in unison,"You are."

They looked at each other and said in unison, "Jinxs. Person jinx.

Ax looked at them confused and scratched his head.

"It's late Yuki. Mom and dad are probiliy worried about you." Cassie said.

"Ok Cassie-chan." Yuki said with a yawn.

Cassie looked at Ax and said, "Good night, Ax."

"Yes it is Cassie." Ax said in though-speak.

"No no no!" Cassie said.

Yuki laugh at her and looked at Ax.

"What wrong Cassie?" Ax asked her in though-speak.

"Ax, the correct reponds to good night is good night." Cassie said.

"Oh." Ax said in though-speak.

Yuki looked at Ax and said with a bow, "Good night, Ax-chan. It was nice to meet you."

Ax looked at her and did what she did.

They finished bowing and Yuki looked at him. She walked over and hugged him.

Ax was kinda surprised by it and hugged her back.

They let go of each and Ax said in though-speak,"Good night Yuki and Cassie. Have good dreams"

The Andalite reared back until he was far enough that could turn and he gallop out of the barn leaving them alone.

He headed back to the wood and medow that he and Tobias shares. Yuki and Cassie walked out of the barn and over the the house. They walked inside and walked over to Cassie's room. Before Cassie open the door to her room, and looked at Yuki's shirt.

"Um Yuki, what's that on your shirt?" Cassie asked her.

Yuki looked down at her shirt and looked at her.

"Oh it's Patamon." Yuki said as they walked in the room.

They walked over to the bed and sat down.

"Pata who?" Cassie asked pluzzled.

Yuki looked at her and explained,"Patamon. He's a digimon character. Before you asked what's Digimon? Digimon is a popular cartoon show where I come from."

"Oh ok. I never heard of it." Cassie said.

Yuki removed her panda bark back pack fron her shoulders and put it in her lap.

Cassie eyed the pack and said, "Nice back pack."

"Thank you Cassie-chan." Yuki said with a smile.

Cassie and Yuki yawn and Casssie asked, "Tired?"

"Yes." Yuki said as she stold up and walked over to her suit case at.

She kneeled down and unzipped her suit case. At that time Cassie got of her bed and walked over to her dresser. Yuki flipped opened her pink and looked thru her stuff for her light purple pjs. Cassie got to the dresser and opend her third drawer. She digged thru and found what she was looking fer. Yuki rezipped her suit case and stold up with her pjs in her hand. She looked over at Cassie and saw the blue cube in her hand.

"What's that Cassie-chan?" Yuki asked her.

Cassie closed the draw and turned around.

She looked at her and said, "It's a blue cube."

"What is it doing here?" Yuki asked her.

"A dying friend gave to my others friends. I'll tell you everything in the morning. Ok?" Cassie said.

"Ok Cassie-chan." Yuki said.

She walked over to the door and grabbed the knob. She opened the door and walked out of the room leaving Cassie in the room. She walked over to the rest room and grabbed the door knob. She enter the room and closed the door. She quickly locked the door and walked over to the middle of the room. She took off her clothes and changed into her pjs.

She bend down and picked up her dirty clothes.

Mean while in Cassie's room...

Cassie changed out of her clothes and into her night gown. She walked over to her closet and opened it. She pushed back her and looked down.

"There it is." She said as she found what she was looking fer.

She found her sleeping bag and bend over. She picked it up and stood back up. She closed the door and turned around. She walked over to her bed with the dark red sleeping bag in hand and she kneeled down. She set down and began to unrolled it. Just then the door open and Yuki walked in wearing her light purple Garfield printed pjs.

"Hello again Cassie-chan." Yuki said as she closed the door.

Cassie stold up and greet her friend as she noticed her pj, "Hey Yuki. Nice pjs."

"Thanks Cassie-chan." Yuki said.

"Yuki, you can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep down here." Cassie said.

"No Cassie I don't want to put you in any trouble." Yuki said.

"Yuki, you are my friend and you are no trouble at all." Cassie told her.

"Are you sure?" Yuki asked her.

"Yes I am." Cassie said.

Just then the door opened and Cassie's mom enter the room.

She looked at then and said, "Girls, it's late and time for bed. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Good night mom." Cassie said as she looked at her.

"Good night Cassie's mom." Yuki said as she bowed.

"Good night girls." Cassie's mom said as she bowed back.
"Yuki, you are my friend and you are no trouble at all." Cassie told her.

"Are you sure?" Yuki asked her.

"Yes I am." Cassie said.

Just then the door opened and Cassie's mom enter the room.

She looked at then and said, "Girls, it's late and time for bed. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Good night mom." Cassie said as she looked at her.

"Good night Cassie's mom." Yuki said as she bowed.

"Good night girls." Cassie's mom said as she bowed back.

She exited the room and closed the door. Cassie walked over to the light switch and Yuki walked over to Cassie's bed. She pulled back the cover and got in. Cassie flipped the light switch and room became dark. She walked back over to her bed and kneeled in front of her sleeping bag. She pulled back the cover and got in. Yuki rolled over and saw a spare pillow and grabbed it. She rooled back over and tossed it over to Cassie. The pillow landed right on top of Cassie's stomach.

"Hey!" Cassie said.

"Hey yourself, Cassie-chan." Yuki said.

They giggled and then they stopped.

"Good night Yuki." Cassie said.

"Good night Cassie-chan." Yuki said as she fell asleep.

Cassie grabbed the pillow from her stomach and put it behind her head and grabbed the blanket. She covered herself up and closed her eyes. The house hold slept thru the night. It was 3 AM when Cassie heard a peaking sound coming from her window and woke up. She threw off the blanket and got up. She looked over at Yuki and saw that she was still asleep.

"Cassie open the window." Tobias the half boy half red tail hawk said in thought-speak.

Cassie walked over to the window and opened it up. Tobias flew in and landed on Cassie's desk. He looked at her and then looked over at Cassie's bed. She saw a Japanese girl sleeping in Cassie's bed and he looked at Cassie.

"Cass, who that sleeping in your bed?" Tobias asked her in thought-speak.

"That's Yuki, she's a foreign exchange student, she's staying with my family for the summer." Cassie told him quitely.

Yuki moan in her sleep and rolled over to one side.

"Oh ok, Cass but we need to hurry and get to your barn for a meeting." Tobias said in thought-speak.

"Ok Tobias. Let me change first." Cassie told the red tail hawk.

"Alright Cassie." Tobias said in thought-speak.

He flapped his brown wings and flew up into the air. Once in the air Cassie looked up at Tobias.

"I'll meet you there." Cassie said quietly.

Tobias nodded in agreement and he flew over to the window. He flew out and Cassied watched him leave. As soon as the hawk was gone she walked over to her dresser and open the draw. She went thru her clothes and quitely not trying to wake up the sleeping Yuki. She pulled out her morphing suit and quickly changed into it. She threw her grown on the floor and he walked over to the door. She opened it up slowly and walked out of her dark room. Once out of her room and the only light was on at her dark house was the hall light. She walked on and on until she reached the front door.
