MemoriesYou've probably seen this in 4kids, but I thought that I'd post it here, so you can read it!! I hope you enjoy my story ^_- I'll update everyday! ^-^ Enjoy:
Alone. That’s the only word that I can think of to describe myself right now. I am sitting above the village on a rooftop. This village is not my town, nor is it my home. How I came here is quite a story. The story of how I met the turtles is another one. Tonight the sky is bare and the moon is clear. The breeze is cool and the night is deep. Alone. The emotion stabs my heart. I was separated from my brother nearly four months ago...it seems so long ago. I can almost see him now, sitting beside me. He was different than me. He wore black, not white. He had a distinct darkness to him. His eyes were always hollow. His honor was the only thing that stopped him from turning to the others. After the incident with The Grim, he fell into an increasing darkness. Now we are separated, the explosion threw us miles, or even years apart. I do not know if he is alive or dead, good or evil. I can only hope that he hasn't gotten himself killed.
Sometimes to pass the time I look into the past. The memories keep me from the present, like the time when I first encountered the turtles. It was night and I was running…from myself…

Opps, my bad. I guess I should have mentioned that it is a story about my fancharacter, The Ghost. This story is about her meeting the turtles. Hahaa..... Here's some more.. enjoy:
I blinked the hot tears away. The buildings were a blur, whizzing past as I ran. I used the power in my legs to jump across another alley…..just another alley. I bit my lip harder, until blood seeped down my chin. I stopped suddenly and collapsed to the ground. My body heaved with shattered breaths. I screamed silently into the night. The pain was too much. I couldn’t handle it. It couldn’t be! No! He wasn’t gone! He would be standing there waiting for me as always. I closed my eyes tightly. I knew I couldn’t fool myself any more. He was dead. My sensei was dead. The only person who could be even close to a father….has been murdered. Murdered in cold blood, by a most hated enemy, The Grim. Now my sensei was gone. No. He was simply dead, I couldn’t use any other word for it. I couldn’t hide myself from the truth any more. I wiped the blood from my chin looked at it in disgust on my palm. I smudged it onto the ground, leaving a red stain. I thought back to my brother. He was probably sitting in silence, as he always does these days. He hasn’t talked to me for days, he is drowning in his pain. I guess I am as well. These days I leave the hideout more and more, just to get away. It always fails, because everything always catches up with me..

Okay! Heres the next update! Enjoy:
Movement! Quickly and silently I sprinted to the shadows. I pressed my back against the wall, so I was hidden in the darkness. I silently watched as figures jumped onto the spot where I was moments ago. There were at least fifteen of them, all moving with liquid grace. Their faces where hidden, and a red symbol on their shoulders stood out in the moonlight. One of them observed the smear of blood that I had just left. He knelt down and ran his finger through it.
“It’s fresh.” He hissed. I pressed my back harder against the wall and my breathing became shallow and broken. I cursed myself for being so foolish not to watch my surroundings. Now all of them were curious about the blood.
“Could it be one of the turtles?” One of them asked. Turtles? What in the world were they talking about?
“Perhaps…we must follow every lead that we have.”
“They couldn’t of gone far…If we don’t kill these fools soon, Master will have our heads!”
“Search the place!!” One of the ninja's yelled. The dark figures began to fan out. Dread swept through my body. I narrowed my eyes and quickly looked around, observing the playing field. No way out. I clenched my fists. I took in a breath of surprise. One of the ninja’s was walking in front of me, only four inches away! I gave an inner smile and with a silent snap, I grabbed him and pulled him into the shadows. He jerked in surprise.
“Sorry.” I said with little truth as I hit him on the top of the head. He dropped. I picked him up and threw him into the middle of the ninja’s. Fourteen heads whipped around at the exact same time. I walked out of the shadows, with confidence…perhaps too much.
"I have one question.” Each ninja spun around to face me. They all calculated the situation in seconds. I was the one who threw their fellow friend.
“Are you afraid of ghost’s?” I drew my katana slowly from my sheath and smirked with over confidence. “Because you will be…”

Alrightie! Heres another update! Enjoy:
The moisten air threatened a storm. I stood facing a great amount of opponents. I bowed, then raised my katana. Leaped over their heads and landed near the edge of the roof. In the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of fork lightning…I stepped back suddenly, nearly falling off of the edge. A memory came flooding in, so vivid, so real. It took me back to that night.
The Grim stood over my sensei. He raised his scythe. I screamed, but it was snuffed by the crack of thunder. The fork lightning snapped overhead, which took me back to reality.
Just then, a ninja was lunging for me with his tanto aiming for my neck. Out of instinct, I sidestepped quickly out of the way. Raising my katana, we crossed blades. I pushed hard against his sword and he returned the pressure. We stood there in a deadly embrace. Suddenly, another attacked from behind. I ducked, sweeping my own blade I disengaged. Going to the next katana. I let go with one of my hands and grabbed the attacker’s exposed wrist. Twisting it to a painful angle, he yelled and released his hold on his own sword. I leapt backward, just as stars went flying by my chest. I took in the situation with a feeling of sickness. I needed distance. I unlatched my grappling hook from my belt and swung it. Releasing the rope, it latched onto the other rooftop. Dodging a swipe from a spear, I leapt into the night. Swinging in between the buildings, the rush calmed me. I landed lightly on the other side. I loaded my crossbow with haste and raised it to eyelevel. Carefully I aimed for the nearest ninja’s forehead. Then thunder cracked overhead and I was covering my eyes before I knew it.
Blood was everywhere, I ran to the side of my sensei. My brother was right behind me. I knelt down and lifted his head.
“Wake up! Come on!”
Then I felt a cool blade touch the back of my neck.
“Don’t move, little one.” Grim stood behind me.
I froze. Rain touched my cheek and I once again came back to reality. It was so real, the memory….it was just so real! What was happening to me?! Confused and angered, I spun around to find a katana pointed at my heart.
“Don’t move.” The ninja ordered me.
Surprised, I stumbled back. I bumped into the assassin behind me. I whipped around to face him and grabbed his arm, throwing him into the ninja who threatened me. Sensing another attack from my left, I brought my katana out of its sheath. I brought it sideways, missing the other blade by centimeters. It cut deeply into my thigh. I clenched my teeth in silent anguish. With difficulty I ignored the pain, I raised my katana and struck. The rain started to poor. Slash! We passed blades. Slash! Slash! Slash! He attacked nonstop. I feinted an attack and then parried, riposted. Whoosh! He missed my arm by millimeters. Now I thrusted, attacking him. Ching! We locked, and then I drew back, disengaging. I came forward with a tierce, which sent his weapon to the ground.
“Touché.” I said, with respect.
I went to bow, but suddenly I was grabbed from behind. I tried to break free, but the arms where too strong. The arms wrapped against my chest, I gasped for air. I dropped my katana. I tried to kick backwards, but the effort was in vain. I was suddenly thrown the air. I hit the wall, sliding down. I collapsed onto the ground. I spat out blood and tried to stand, but the muscle was torn. I clenched my teeth in absolute anger and grief. The rain pounded onto my back. Footsteps splashed through the puddles. I slowly looked up to find a figure standing over me, with my own katana. I knew what was coming; I was about to be killed. Just the same as my sensei...

Heres the next update!! Enjoy:
I squinted through the curtain of rain and looked into the blank eyes of my fate. Sheet lightning flashed uncontrollably, lighting up his face. Suddenly that feeling…that feeling of déjà vu came again. It was so strong, so real.
I sat there at the side of my sensei, my hand on his. He looked up into my brother’s eyes, then mine. I felt myself fall into his weak smile,
“N-never……be….a….afraid….” He said to me. His eyes gradually lost their glow and his hand slipped from mine. I lowered my head and tears streamed down my cheeks. I closed my eyes tight and opened them to find myself staring into the tip of my own blade. It was pointed an inch away from my heart. I pushed backward in surprise, which sent a spasm of pain up my leg. My back hit the wall and I cursed inwardly. I looked back into the empty eyes of the figure standing above me. The rain was pounding the earth. The figure raised my katana and I brought up my arm in an instinctive defense. Then his whole body seemed to shudder and he dropped my katana with a clatter. I lowered my arm slowly to see in amazement that the ninja was toppling over. His head landed an inch away from my leg. When the ninja fell, he revealed a new figure standing behind him, with a fist still raised. Confused I tried to move backwards, but the wall was still there. Suddenly everything became very blurry, was it the rain? No, the world began to spin. I slowly began to collapse, through hazy vision I saw the figure coming towards me. I tried to stop him, but I was falling into darkness…darkness…darkn-

Warmth. I half opened my eyes, the light was soft. I felt a warm washcloth on my forehead. I smiled. Master always did know how to make me feel well again. I opened my eyes fully and all of the memories came flooding in at once. Wait, no. My sensei was not here. Not anymore. The fight, the assassins on the roof…the figure. What happened? I looked around. This was not my home. Where was I? I tried to stand, but a huge spasm nearly took my breath away. I looked down at my leg to see that it was in a splint of some sort. Where was I? I reached for my katana, but I only felt my empty sheath. My arrows, crossbow, grappling hook…all missing. I threw off the wash cloth and felt my lips. Stale blood. I was being held captive, that was it. I had to escape! I whipped my head around, scanning the room. I saw my weapons on a table on the far end. Why…why would they have my weapons easily accessible to me? Why would they bandage my wounds? I brought my legs slowly around and set down my healthy one. I stood up, very unstable and I started for my weapons. Only to find myself in extreme pain, lying on the floor.
“Oh…aghhh….what the hell?!” I growled as I attempted to stand again. Then, with no warning the door flew open.

Thanks! ^-^ Heres the update. Enjoy:
I looked up in surprise, to find myself staring into the eyes of a turtle. No joke. A giant turtle standing on two legs just walked through the door. It’s skin was a pale green, I observed the many scars. It’s eyes where hollow under a purple mask. I crawled backward with my arms.
“Oh. Are you alright?” The creature asked me, noticing that I was on the ground.
“Get away!!” I yelled at it. I reached for my katana on the table. I whipped it forward and pointed it at him.
“Wait. I didn’t mean you any harm.” He set down the steaming tea that he was holding and opened his arms. This gesture of peace did not relax me.
“Who are you?” I demanded, still holding the blade steady. Then, the door opened again. Another turtle stepped through. I could see the contrast between the two instantly. There was a distinct hardness to him. His mask was ripped, falling over his furious eyes.
“Don-” He began. I stiffened. Then he took in the situation. He reached for his own weapons. I switched my blade to him.
“Don’t.” I hissed.
“Wait!” The purple one yelled, “I think we all have questions that need to be answered.”
“Alright, then let’s start with, Where are we?” I offered, switching my katana between the two of them.
“We are in Central Park.” The purple one informed.
“Was that you on the roof top?”
“Actually no,” He said, turning to the other turtle, “It was Raphael.”
“Oh….” I said, cautiously lowering my katana a few inches. Not bothering to ask about the fact that they were giant turtles, I tried a different angle.
“Are you the only two?”
The purple one shifted uncomfortably.
“No, I have two more brother’s.”
“Are they here?”
“Their…out.”
I set down my katana and relaxed a few inches.
“Why are you helping me?” I asked, carefully.
Then, suddenly Raphael spoke,
“What where you doing on that roof top?” He demanded. I stuttered, surprised at the sudden question. I looked him in the eyes,
“Running.”
“From what?”
I hesitated, “…You know how it is.”
They both got the message and the awkward moment seemed to last forever.
“You should get some rest.” Purple said suddenly. I nodded and pulled myself onto the bed.
“Uh…thanks for…uh…” I awkwardly stuttered, gesturing to my splinted leg.
“Don’t worry about it.” He said as he closed the door behind him. I lied there in the dark, listening to their footsteps falling into the distance. I stared at the ceiling for what it seemed like hours. Everything that had happened seemed like a blur. Who are these…turtles? The pain in my leg increased a small amount. I thought back to my brother. Would he be wondering where I was? No. He wouldn’t have even noticed. My mind buzzed with questions for a long while. I guess that I eventually must have fallen asleep…

My eyes snapped open, the light was blinding. Where was I? I sat up and looked around. My head spun from getting up to quickly. I had hoped that it was all a nightmare, but no. I was still in that same room. I lowered my legs to the ground and stood up. I nearly fell over from the sudden dizziness. I stabilized myself and hobbled over to the door. Using the wall for support, I turned the knob, which revealed a small room. It was very tidy, with random weapons and devices scattered about. In the far corner there was a large desk with computers and several other technical devices. The purple masked turtle was sitting at a chair, absorbed in the technology. I stepped into the room, which suddenly sent me careening towards the ground. I caught myself just in time. Embarrassed, I snapped up, just to find the turtle staring at me with an amused look.
“Slippery spot there…” I lied, adding a fake laugh. The turtle laughed and turned back towards the desk. I suddenly noticed the muffled pounding of rain against the ceiling. “Where’s Raphael?” I asked.
“He’s out now, I guess. He visits every so often.”
“Oh…I thought…I…uh-” I stuttered. Donatello smiled weakly.
“By the way, I’m Donatello.”
“Oh. I-I’m The Ghost.” I said, lamely.
“Nice name.” He replied, warmly.
“Thanks…” I looked around, soaking in the surroundings. The place only looked big enough for one person.
“Why haven’t the other two come back yet?” I asked. Then to my surprise, Donatello seemed to loose his breath. He swallowed hard and lowered his eyes. After a few long moments he spoke with shaky breath,
“I-It’s hard…you know… t-they just…” He paused, painfully. My heart skipped a beat. “…Out of all of the horrible…terrible times…” He lowered his head, “I-It’s all of the good and fun times we had…that hurt the most…” I felt tears billowing up into my eyes. His words were so true. I dropped my head and let my hair bury my face. Then Donatello looked up, strongly. “They’ve left...” He said, with pain stricken eyes. “I guess they couldn’t…stay. The pain was just too much…we all coped with it differently…after the fight…I guess everything we had…everything…just fell apart. I tried to keep us together…I tried! Separately they eventually left…I don’t even know why I am still here…I guess I still had hope…that someday they’d come back. Hell…I don’t even know who they are anymore!” He half yelled. Then he whipped around, embarrassed and said softly, “I-I’m sorry…I don’t know why I said that….I-“
“No. I understand.” My cheeks where damp. I guess at one point the tears had started, I don’t know when.
“Sorry…” He said as he slowly turned around. We stood there facing each other and time slowly passed. Finally Donatello spoke as if he never spoke before,
“I’ve noticed that you have some knowledge of ninjitsu.”
“Yes, actually.”
“Who are you training with?” He asked. Then, time seemed to stop. No breath came to my lungs.
“I-I….” I stuttered, “Master Torvo.”
“Oh, I’ve never heard of him.”
“Um…Just out of curiosity do you know of anybody by the name, The Grim?”
“Well, I think I’ve heard my brother mention that name.”
“I’ll just wait until he comes back then.”
“No. Not that brother…the other one.”

I stood in the rain. The blood stained into my white robes was slowly draining out. I looked at the sky. The sinister clouds towered over me. I looked around at the other buildings. The left corner of the thirteenth building to the west of the Library. I was on the right rooftop, I was sure. Donatello had specifically told me to go here. He tried to get me not to go in the rain…but I had to go…had to know. Then, I spotted a dark figure on the edge of a roof above me. Could it be? Then, the figure disappeared. I heard a splash behind me and I whipped around. My hand grabbed my katana, instinctively. His did the same. We stood there, poised. Being pounded by the rain. His long cloak thrashed in the wind and the hood shadowed his eyes. I caught a glimpse of blue. The cape flew back and I saw a flash of a nasty scar running up his whole leg.
“So, you’re The Ghost.” He half whispered.
“Yes.”
I whipped out my katana and he twitched in surprise. I tossed it to the ground and it skidded to a stop at his feet.
“I am here to ask you about The Grim.”
“I see…” He said, lowering his hands, “Yes, I’ve heard of him.”
The rain slowed and the wind picked up.
“Someone I know works for him. He lives around here. If you are who you say you are, then you’ll have no trouble finding him.”
“Thank you,” I said, a little confused, “I need to see your brother. Do you know where he is?”
He stared hard at me for a few moments.
“…Last time I heard, Michelangelo wasn’t even in this city any more.”
With that, he flipped over the edge of the roof. I stood in silence for a short while, pondering. Finally, I walked forward limping slightly. I snatched my katana and slid it back into its sheath.
“Interesting…” Suddenly I sensed a presence behind me. I spun around and found myself staring into the eyes of Raphael. His face was half hidden by the collar of his trench coat. His fedora silhouetted his eyes.
“Whoa! Where did you co-”
“What are you doing here?” He demanded.
“Why is that any of your business?”
I could see him jerk with fury.
“Why were you talking to him?”
“Do you have a problem with me talking to your brother, Leonardo?”
He stepped back in surprised. “Don’t ever say his name around me.”
I fell silent. Then looked at him with curiosity,
“Do you know anyone who works for The Grim?”
“No.”
I cursed inwardly, as the wind howled fiercely, stinging my face.
“Do you have any family?” He asked suddenly.
Slightly surprised, I spoke, “Just a brother.”
“Where is he?”
“…Home.”
“I see.” We stood in silence.
“Why did you help me that night?”
Silence.
“You looked like you could’ve used a hand.”
I nodded. “Thanks.”
He stopped suddenly and avoided my gaze.
“I have to go.”
“Wait!” I grabbed his arm, “Where’s Michelangelo?”
Raphael yanked his arm from my grasp.
“Why is that any of your business?”
I stuttered in surprise from the comeback. I caught a glimpse of his shadowed eyes, they where glazed. He whipped around and whispered, “I have to go.” Then he jumped over the edge, just the same as his brother. I stood there in bewilderment, as the wind tossed around my robes.

I arrived at Donatello’s home. I don’t even know why I went back. I easily could’ve gone back to my own home. I stepped inside and looked around. No one was there.
“Hello? Donatello?”
I listened…no answer. I shrugged and walked towards the door. Then, I spotted something on the table. Curiosity got the better of me and I strode towards it. It looked like a ripped piece of fabric. No. A mask. I gently picked it up. It was ripped in half and only one eyehole stared blankly. It was mangled and awfully dirty. Behind the filth, the orange still stood out.
“Oh…no…” I stuttered.
“Ghost? I didn’t know that you were here.”
I spun around, dropping the mask on the table.
“Oh! Donatello. I was wondering where you were.” My voice croaked.
“Trip was good?”
“Yes. I found out some things.” Really…had I?
“Cool. I’m just outside, fixing the satellite reception.”
He went out the door. I stood there in shock. I couldn’t breathe. No…it couldn’t be…but everything had lead to this. Tears billowed up into my eyes. I couldn’t believe it. I just marched in…I was so stupid! Too many things were happening at once. First giant turtles, then a lead on The Grim and now this. How was I ever going to find this person who works for him? “Aghhh….”
I grabbed my head in frustration. Apparently the worker had lived in that area. That was the key. I began towards the door, just as Donatello came back in.
“Leaving again?”
“Actually, yes.”
“Before you go, can I check your splint?”
“Oh…sure.”
I took off my tabi boot and he knelt down. He began to lift bandages and such. I looked at him…even though everything he knew was lost…he was still smiling. Here I am running from everything, when he is living to the fullest.
“Put pressure on it.” He directed. I shifted my weight to that leg. Then, he smiled. “It’s healing nicely. I could even remove the splint and bandage up the calf for you.”
“Sounds great.”

The sun was slowly setting, revealing a dead night. The colours on the horizon were magnificent. I was perched on top of a vast skyscraper. Scanning the area. Searching. I was alone on a depressing, deserted island in the sky. A land of tarred gravel and air-conditioning machinery. There was a flagpole, no flag. The hoist kept slapping the pole with a sort of hollow twang. I stood up and continued on through the rooftops, hugging the shadows. To my surprise, there was a silhouette of someone sitting against the painted sky. The shape of the fedora was unmistakable. I smiled and sprinted towards him. He jerked in surprise.
“Nice spot you have up here.” I said.
“You can’t stay out of trouble, can you Ghost?” Raphael remarked, “Your leg is healing, I see.”
I nodded as I sat down beside him.
“So what are you doing up here?” He asked.
“Always, with the questions.” I smiled. He laughed and leaned back against his hands. Then spoke in a half whisper,
“I was just visiting a place I once knew.”
Then, I swallowed hard, “I know what it’s like to lose someone.”
His head snapped up, “W-what are you talking ab-”
“…I-I know what happened.”
Raphael looked away, his eyes where hidden. “You know nothing.”
I shut my eyes from the glorious sky and spoke bluntly, “My sensei was murdered. So yes, I do know.”
Raphael twitched in surprise, “I-I am sorry.” He looked up at the emerging stars, “Michelangelo….he sacrificed his life to save the rest of us…”
I was slightly surprised by his openness.
“I could’ve saved him…. when he jumped off that edge…with Karai……I-I…I could’ve saved HIM!!” He punched the ground and debris flew everywhere. I sat in silence…eyes down.
“I-I…am so sor-”
“You need to leave this place, Ghost.”
Surprised, I whipped around to face him.
“What?”
“Someone is after you.”
I was taken back. “How do you know this?”
“Just get away from here! Get away…from me.”
“Wait…what…what do you mea-”
“JUST GO!!!”
Shocked, I stared hard at him for a few moments. Angered, I stood up and I whirled around, turning my back to him.
He spoke, in a shattered sense, “Your presence is…is haunting me.”
My heart skipped a beat, I turned back. No one was there…I was left in bewilderment. What had he meant by that? Haunting…

I laid there in bed, in the dark. What was the time? One in the morning? Three? Six? Who knew? I wanted to sleep. Needed to sleep. Couldn’t. It was one of those nights. Where you’re exhausted, where you’d pay anything to just fall asleep. But the wheels just keep spinning and spinning and spinning. Re-playing conversations. Analyzing, repeating, rehashing them. Around and around in circles.
“Hopeless.” I said to no one.
I turned around and set my feet on the cold floor. I buried my face in my hands. I needed some air. I stood up and threw on my robes. Grabbing my katana I silently walked past Donatello’s room. I opened the outer door and inhaled the cool air. I climbed up to the roof and sat, pondering. The breeze blew softly against my skin. What was I trying to find out? Grim…Michelangelo……..Torvo…all too complicated. Suddenly, my thoughts where interrupted. There was movement behind me! I began to spin around, but I was hit by something very hard. The object squarely hit my head. White explosions erupted into my vision. I tumbled forward, off of the edge of the roof. I can’t remember when I hit. I was out before then.
My mind slowly awoke. The first thing that I noticed was the distinct coldness against my cheek. I moaned, as slowly I began to feel the other parts of my body. My hipbone was settled uncomfortably into the ground. My arm was angled oddly behind my back. One of my legs was bent and the other was lying relaxed on the ground. Just then I noticed a dull thumping, a constant pounding in my head. Then a wave of pain, so immense came rushing through my body.
“Ohh…aghhh…” I groaned. My head was throbbing uncontrollably. I slowly opened my eyes. Everything was blurry…my hand was in front of my face. I closed my eyes tightly and opened them again. Darkness surrounded me. I tried moving a small amount, but the pain was agonizing. Was I dead? Then, a voice from the darkness,
“I see you’re awake.”
I slowly, painfully pulled myself to my feet. Wincing, I scanned the area. I couldn’t see anything. The darkness seemed endless. I felt for my blade, it was gone.
“Don’t bother. I haven’t brought you here for that.”
I whipped around to the source of the voice.
“Who are you?” I croaked, as I shivered from the cold.
“I am surprised that you don’t recognize my voice.”
I stood as strong and as confident as I could.
“I don’t have time for games.”
“Very well.” A dim light slowly came on, revealing a large figure. The air escaped from my lungs. He stood tall and proud. His hood and mask shadowed his cavernous eyes and his robes pooled at the ground. Even with a first glance you could see his corrupt nature. The decorative spikes extending from the back of his robe were unmistakable. There stood The Grim.
“It’s been a while, little one.”
I couldn’t even begin to explain the rage that seeped through my body. I shook with the abhorrence.
“You’re a very difficult female to find. I had to assign my best bounty hunter assure your capture. My pockets are quite empty now.” He chuckled. I shivered at the filthy sound.
“I believe you two have met.” He motioned to the figure that had come to his side. Time seemed to stop as I stared into Raphael’s eyes.

He was wearing a strange uniform, a cloak the colour of crimson blood. He looked at me through the top of his hood. I stepped back, in shock. He showed no emotions. The Grim laughed again.
“Isn’t he grand! So filled with hate and vengeance. I found him by coincidence some time ago. I simply told him that I knew how he could make those people pay. The one’s responsible for his brother’s fate. He’s been my best hunter yet, it’s really quite grandiose.”
I vibrated with animosity. Now everything made sense. How could I have been so foolish?! The reason Raphael saved me on the rooftop is because he needed me alive. He brought me to Donatello because for some twisted reason The Grim wanted me in top health. The worker that Leonardo mentioned…was Raphael. He must have found out at one point. He was trying to give me a subtle warning. How could of missed the clues?! It was all so obvious! Raphael’s quickness in answering my questions about Grim. The way he knew my name without asking. His plead for me to leave, was him giving me a chance to escape. But he must have realized that I was on to him. So he sped up the job. It all made sense now. I cursed again and again.
“What do you want with me?! Haven’t you murdered enough innocent souls?!” I yelled.
“My, my. That attitude will get you nowhere, little one. I just wanted to have a little get together. I mean look at you now. You’re so grown up!”
“You sicken me.” I scoffed. Grim chuckled.
“Of course it wouldn’t be a proper gathering without your brother.” Suddenly a limp figure flew through the air and landed hard at my feet. The tousled dirty blonde hair and soft features were unmistakable.
“Phantom!” I cried as I knelt to my brother’s side. His black cloak was scattered around him. He was breathing in fractured breaths.
“What have you done to him?!!” I yelled.
“You mean The Phantom? I simply…how would you say it? Put him to sleep?”
“NO!!!” I squeezed my eyes and let the tears fall. I had lead Raphael right to him. When he asked where my brother was, I had told him that he was at home. Then, Raphael must of asked Donatello where I lived.
“You …” I hissed a word that I won’t repeat.
The Grim laughed menacingly, “You haven’t changed a bit, but this is not the reason why I brought you here. Although it has been entertaining, I have to get to business. I have a request. I want you to join me.”
W-What? Join him?! Was he mad?!
“What do you mean?” I demanded.
“It’s simple. I want you and your brother to join my forces, just as your comrade has,” He continued, “You would have power beyond imagining. I would place you as the head of one of my armies. It is your destiny!! I have been watching you since you were small. The Phantom and yourself are quite remarkable. Think about it, little one.”
The answer came easily.
“You are mad.”
“Ah, I see how it is. I can’t simply make you answer on the spot. I’ll give you some time to decide.” He nodded to Raphael and he tossed him something from the darkness. His eyes flashing from the brim of his hood, Raphael began towards me. His cloak was billowing up behind him. He threw me my katana. I caught it with ease. Taking out his sais he stood opposite of me.
Raphael hissed, “You should’ve listened to me.”
“You lair. What kind of idiot do you take me for?” I sneered, “Especially when you played that whole, haunting crap.” I mocked.
He answered with a growling voice, “No. I wasn’t lying when I said that.”
I barked out a laugh, “You really expect me to believe that?! First you save my life, just to kill me later. Then, you lie some more, track down my brother and then you play that card?!” I didn’t even notice that tears that were streaming down my cheeks. “You JERK!!……No. THAT would be a compliment. It should be more like: Dishonorable, INCONSIDERATE, RAGING, IGNORAMUS FOOL!!!” My screams echoed through the room. I breathed heavily. The rage that I was feeling was so strong….had I really felt that much affection for him?
Raphael looked up at me through the brim of his hood with sadness.
“I…I-”
“Cute. Regrettably that is not what I pay you to do. So……SILENCE HER, YOU FOOL!!” The Grim roared.
Raphael turned back to face me. His face was blank again.
“I’m sorry Ghost, but I have to do my duty. You know how it is.” He said with darkness. But I was ready. I was ready to let out every fiber of animosity that I felt. You could almost feel the electricity running between us. We were vibrating. My rage joined with his, was deadly. With The Grim sitting on his throne behind us, time seemed to stop. Everything was in slow motion. Everything around us seemed to go away. We were the only ones. The only two in the room, with nothing but ourselves. We bowed to each other.
“I don’t want to hurt you, Ghost.”
Holding my katana with both hands, I raised it level with my eyes. “You already have…”
Then everything exploded! The adrenaline was released! With a snap of his cloak he was all over me!! His sais where silver blurs. I blocked! He countered! Clang! Clang! CLANG! We crossed metal!! Whoosh! My foot went sailing past his head. Choon! A sai flew past my arm. Wham! Clang! Slash! Slash!! An inch of my hair hit the ground. WHAM! A crack was heard from his jaw. The Grim was laughing in the background.
“So much rage!!” He yelled excitedly.
Slash! Slice!!! I red line appeared on Raphael’s cheek. He punched, I ducked, lunged! We were down! Wolves, after each other’s blood! Rolling and kicking!! Our weapons were scattered now.
“TRAITOR!!”
“FOOL!!!”
Crack!! Blood ran down my chin. He kneed and I punched. WHAM! The wind was knocked out of his lungs. I pounced!! Pinning his arms down, but he rocked in the other direction. We were rolling out of control!! Spinning and still attacking!! Wham! Slap! Then we instantly stopped, I was on the bottom. I was the one trapped.
“Your doing this for your Michelangelo?! What would he say if he saw you now…if he saw what you have become?!!”
“That’s just it, Ghost. He can’t see me now, because he’s DEAD!”
“You’re insane!” I wailed, staring into his maddening eyes.
He grabbed my katana from the ground and pressed it up to my neck, blood slowly seeped onto the blade.
“I’m sorry that it had to come to this Ghost.”

Aww.... Thanks Emerald!!! >.< I am sooo glad that your enjoying it!!! Heres another update for ya: ^_-
Enjoy:
“Ahh!!” I struggled as he held me tighter. SHLING!! Suddenly a star went flying by Raphael’s head, missing it by millimeters. We both turned our heads to see Phantom’s hand still raised.
“Sorry to interrupt.” He growled.
I whipped my leg around, smacking Raphael in the tendon. He kneeled over in pain. I grabbed him and threw him into the wall, he slipped down, unconscious. His hood slowly slid off, revealing his ripped mask. I bowed to him.
“Unfortunately, I can’t say that I am sorry.”
“Very Nice. Although the interference of your twin was unexpected.” The Grim chortled.
Breathing heavily, I picked up my katana from the ground and wiped my chin. I nodded in thanks to Phantom. He smiled his rare smile. His hair swept over piercing blue eyes, but the hint of darkness still stood out. He turned away from me, his robes snapped. He faced The Grim.
“I have had enough of your dishonorable games!”
Grim smiled and stood, “Your right. No more games.
The Grim slowly drew his scythe. I could see my reflection through the blade.
“I will give you one last chance, young ones.” Grim hissed.
The Phantom sneered and gripped his double naginata tighter.
“You can keep to you little brigade of lunatics.”
You could almost see Grim’s vein pulsing with rage. The intensity of the moment was over bearing. I was taking in heavy breaths. Blood was still flowing, staining into my white robes. I glanced over to Phantom, his face was completely blank. Then I caught sight of the slightest nod.
I understood.
I looked Grim in the eye and bowed. Then, I raised my katana and prepared myself.
“Suit yourselves, you miserable fools.”

Thank you so much Emmy!!!! I am so glad that you are enjoying my writing. I never know if its any good.... blaghh..... so I am sooooooo happy that you like it!!!! ^.^ Yay!! Hahaa, I am glad that you like Phantom ^_-
Enjoy:
Phantom took off!! I also burst forward, veering to the left. The Grim began forward, almost floating. In an eerie, slow pace. I went into a dash, sprint, LEAP!! My blade targeted right for his chest. But then suddenly he wasn’t there!! Confused, I tumbled to the ground. Falling right through where he just was! I looked to see Phantom…he was also confused. Then, I heard Grim’s haunting laughter from the darkness. SCHWOOSH!! From behind!!! I flipped, my katana spinning!! CHING!! I hit the scythe! The sound echoed. Easily blocked. WHAM!! He hit with so much force!! I stumbled back, still moving with the momentum. Then, Phantom struck!! Spinning his double naginata with ease! Around his shoulders, over his hand. A blur! He thrust forward! Slice! Slice! Slash!! SLASH!! Barely moving, The Grim blocked each attack. The naginata was a haze, moving with speed and precision. I dashed forward, Phantom jumped backward. He reached behind him, I grabbed his hand. WHOOSH!! He threw me forward with all of his strength. FOOSH!! I went sailing for The Grim. I flipped, than landed behind him, sliding. I pointed my blade to Grim and stood strong. He smiled.
“Brave.”
I lunged. We locked. He pulled back, swiped forward. I leapt! Blocking!! Down! Left! Left! Our hands blurs!! Up!! Right!! LEFT! DOWN! DOWN!! SLASH!! CLANG!!! I stumbled back, choking. There was a small cut across my throat.
“AGAIN!!” He roared!
He struck!!! I blocked. Spinning my blade, along my shoulders. CHING!! Block! Counter! Upper Right! Block! Left! Down! Left again!!! WHOOSH!! I leapt back, striking!! RIGHT!! AGAIN! AGAIN!! UP! DOWN!! LEFT!! SLASH!!
“Aghh!!” I stumbled back, grabbing my face.
“You always were slow on the left counter.” He lunged forward! SNAP!! Like a snake! He grabbed me by my robe! WHOOSH!!! He swung me through the air. I landed, sideways, careening out of control. Skidding into the never-ending darkness. Stunned. I saw Phantom a few feet away, slowly circling Grim. I scrambled up, running! Leapt! Then, FOOSH!! Using The Phantom’s back as a springboard! Stars flying!! I threw five of them! Ching! Ching! Ching! Ching! CHING!! Grim hit them away!! I landed without a sound, sliding! Dashing forward. WHOOSH!! I spun my grappler! Jumping! Thrusting it at Grim! FOOSH! Wrapping around his arm!! Flipping backwards, I pulled. Grabbing the rope he pulled back! Burning my hands, it slipped. SNAP!! He whipped it backward! CRACK!! It missed me by inches. It left a burn mark on the ground. He went to try again! I was an easy target! Out in the open! Slice!! Phantom came from nowhere!! Cutting the rope from his hands! Soosh!! I dashed forward, dodging the flying darts. Sliding under his legs, Phantom jumping over me. Ching! Clang! SLASH! SLASH!!! He attacked, advancing forward. Slice!! My fabric was cut, showing skin! Whoosh! The double naginata was a blur!! Spinning!! Overhead! Around his shoulders! He struck! Spun!! WHOOSH!!! Attack!! Grim countered!! Ching!! SHLING!!
Clang…clatter…Phantom’s weapon skidded across the floor. He grabbed Phantom by the collar of his robe and lifted him. He raised his scythe. Flit!! An arrow stuck out of his thigh. I lowered my crossbow. He growled and threw Phantom aside, starting after me. But I was already gone. The remains of a smoke bomb were fading away. WHAM! I came from behind! I was on top of the Grim, before he knew it. I avoided his grasp. I stabbed my katana once, ramming it into his shoulder and out.
“ARGHH!!”
He reached backwards, throwing me off. I rolled away. CHANG!! Blocking the scythe from my throat. Whack!! Grim blocked a kick from Phantom, then came back with a snap of his hand. Hitting him in the neck. Phantom fell to ground, choking. Whoosh! Flipping over his head, I landed behind him. Grim threw a shower of stars and smirked.
“Dance.”
Surprised, I flipped back wards, again, again!! Dodging the stars through the air! Whoosh! I finished with an aerial. I looked around…adrenaline pumping. No one was to be seen. I faded into the shadows. Sliding along the wall. Using purely my instincts. Flit! Flit! Flit!! I lunged to the left, barely missing the two stars. I clenched my teeth in anguish as I pulled the third out of my leg. I somersaulted and dashed, closely to the ground. Then, WHOOSH!!! Out of nowhere! His scythe came for my head!! I fell backwards, turning it into a roll. I flipped up, disorientated. BAM!! I blocked a kick!! WHACK!! I whipped my leg around, hitting The Grim in the shoulder blade. I ducked as his scythe flew over my head again. I swung my leg around in attempt to trip him.
BAM!!
My leg hit his own.
“Ohh!!” I clenched my teeth in pain.
He smiled, knocking my brother away as he came forward. He picked me up by my neck. I gasped and clawed his hand, trying to free myself.
“Don’t struggle, little one. It’s been fun, but honestly I am getting slightly bored.”

Hahaa...Aww thanks so much. ^.^ I'll update it for ya!!! Everthing gets a little crazy after this. ^-^
Enjoy:
“Aww…and I was just starting to enjoy your PARTY!!” I kicked forward. CRACK!! My foot contacted with his nose.
“ARGHH!!” He stumbled back, grasping his face, “GAGHH!! CURSE YOU!!!!” He yelled as blood seeped through his fingers.
Slipping from his grasp, I retrieved my sword. Phantom at my side.
“ENOUGH!!” Grim roared!! He attacked!! We locked! Sparks flying!! His strength was too much!! The scythe was slowly pressing my own blade to my neck! CHANG!! The naginata hit the scythe away! I somersaulted, then flipped back up. I went to attack! He was gone! I looked around, frantically! WHAM! Out of nowhere his leg hit my ribs like a rock. I tumbled through the air and skidded along the floor, rolling out of control!! I stopped roughly and gasped and choked. No air!! I closed my eyes and stuttered. I couldn’t breathe!! WHAM!! I was slammed into the ground!! His foot was pushing into my back, crushing me! He laughed.
“Just when it was getting fun.”
I struggled, choking.
“Don’t even…” I recognized Phantom’s voice, “You can have me, just leave her alone.”
“No!” I managed to blurt.
“Nice offer, but I like to get things done the hard way.”
Then, out of nowhere Grim slid a tanto out from his side and whipped it at Phantom. Spinning!! WHOOSH!! Happening too fast!!!
“NO!!” I yelled. I glanced over to Phantom, just as he flung sideways. The air escaped from my lungs. He was holding the blade……he had caught it……but his eyes were wide with shock. He stuttered, stumbling back, turning to face me. To my horror, I saw the truth. He wasn’t holding the blade; it was stuck right through him. Right through his shoulder! I could see the other end!
“NOOOOO!!!!” I wailed as tears rolled down my cheeks, “NOOOOOO!!”
Phantom staggered and fell to the ground, still in alarm. Blood began to stain into his skin. The Grim laughed insanely.
“YOU FOOL!! NO ONE CROSSES ME!!”
I let out a cry of fury at The Grim.
“AGHHHHH!!!!”
No…
No…
NO
NOOOO!!! It couldn’t be!! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!
I struggled to free myself from the ground. But then, I felt something wrap around my ankle. Suddenly I was being lifted into the air, upside down! Grim held me up in line with his eyes.
“ARGHH!! Let go of me, FILTH!!” I yelled.
He laughed and observed my leg.
“Hmm…Still not quite healed yet?” He smiled. Then with both hands he grabbed my leg.
Crr-RACK!!!
He twisted it.
“Aghh! OHH, AHHHHH!!!” I screamed in agony. White explosions erupted into my vision and the world was tossed into a mess of colours. I gasped in shock.
“Ouch.” He mocked. Then, he tossed me beside my brother. I gasped for air. I couldn’t see! The world was a blur of colours. The pain was too much! Too much!! Like a thousand hot knives!! I grasped my leg. I moaned and closed my eyes shut. Suddenly, I felt something gently grab my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Phantom. Dark circles were under his unreadable eyes. He was slowly pulling the bloody tanto out of his shoulder. He gasped and a spasm went through his torn body. The Grim strode towards us and placed his scythe under my chin. He raised it so I was looking into his eyes.
“Now, you will listen.”

Yay!!!! I am so glad that you are enjoying it!!! eeee!! >.< Hahaa, all I can say is that this isn't your average fairy tale....definitly not a happy ending... O.O ^.-
Enjoy:
He made one simple hand gesture. The room came alive. Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! From every direction! Clouds of red smoke suddenly erupted, slowly settling to reveal dark figures. They spun their weapons, slowly and stared through the top of their hoods. Even more began to creep silently from the shadows. Everywhere!! They were all wielding an assortment of lethal weaponry. Slowly moving from the darkness with liquid grace. All wearing identical robes, the colour of crimson blood.
“Behold, my army.”
They surrounded us, their hollow eyes melting us down. Then, I noticed something odd, they all had streaks of red paint across their face. No. It wasn’t paint….It was blood. I felt sick. I couldn’t concentrate…my vision was still a blur…a mess of colours.
“Join me and my humble army and I will spare your pathetic lives.”
The answer was easy, simple. Even with the army of eager warriors facing us, it came easily.
“Never.”
I could almost see a jerk of fury go through The Grim’s body.
“Very well. As you know, I enjoy the hard way.”
He lunged forward, grabbing me by the front of my robes. Raising me up to his eye level. I struggled weakly…he laughed.
“Just like your sensei. You honorable fool.”
Then, he threw me.
“Ahhhghh!!”
Crrrr-RASH!!!!
I tumbled through the window!! Hitting it like a rock.
SMASH!!!
Flying out into the daylight, I some how managed to grab the edge, slamming against the wall. The wind was knocked out of me. I gasped, in shock. I hung out the window, seventy stories high. I heard a muffled shatter as the glass hit the ground…so far down. I struggled, trying to pull myself up. But the wind blew so strong…too strong! I fell against the wall again, just noticing the glass sticking out of my arm. My hand was drenched in blood…I was loosing feeling…
Hand slipping…
I moaned…
I was fading…
Fading…
Then, The Grim appeared in the frame of the shattered window and chuckled.
“Helpless and Dieing. You do take after your sensei, little one.”
He pressed his foot down onto my hand, grinding it back and forth. Glass squished into my palm.
“Rrghh…!!” I growled, clenching my teeth. He laughed. Running his hand through the pool of my own blood. He looked at it in amusement on his palm. Kneeling down, he slowly, smudged a line of it across my face. Then, just as so many times before, déjà vu came swimming back…
I watched as sensei fell…dead. The Grim ran his hand along the flat of his own blade, covering his palm in fresh blood.
“I always leave my mark.” He simply said as he knelt down, drawing a smear of red across sensei’s face.
Then, just as quickly, I was back in reality…
The Grim sneered and looked around to his army.
“THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO ANYONE WHO OPPOSES ME!!” He roared, raising his bloody arm. Then, slowly he turned back to me, flashing a sickening smile. He lifted his foot, ready to slam it down onto my hand.
“Give my regards to the inferno.”

Hehee!!! Heres an update! ((oh, I've begun to post the sequel on 4kids. But don't read it until I finish posting this one!!! ^-^ ))
Enjoy:
“Noo!!” I heard The Phantom’s cry.
Suddenly…
Smm-MASH!!!
Glass shattered everywhere. Sunlight poured in through the roof. Two figures dropped lightly from the newly formed exit. They were silhouetted against the darkness. The Grim whipped his head around, enraged. Then, a voice from one of the figures,
“Just thought we’d drop in.”
I instantly recognized the voice.
Donatello?
He stepped into the light and Leonardo followed.
“WHAT?!!!! R-REMOVE THESE FOOLS!!” Grim bellowed.
Instantly, the room was filled with small smoke explosions. The army was gone. Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! They reappeared, completely surrounding the two turtles. They spun their weapons crazily! Around their shoulders, above their heads, over their hands, around their legs!! They were taunting. Then, instantly, they struck! I could hear blades clashing, the sounds of a fierce battle. I needed to help them…I….needed…but the pain…
“Ughhh…” I moaned, attempting to pull myself up. But then The Grim reached down and roughly pulled up my limp body. He held me out the open window. I stared at the ground, past my feet…it was so far away. The cars…people…the size of toys. No!! This couldn’t be the way that it would end! I struggled harder, frantically.
“Your idiotic friends won’t be able to save you now…and what a shame. Your such a pretty little thing.”
“Aghh!! No!”
Just as he was about to drop me to hell…a shudder went through his body.
“Garaghh!!” His eyes widened and he stuttered. Falling to his knee, he let go of me.
“AHHGHH!!!” I screamed as I dropped to the edge of the window. Plunk! I landed so I was lying on my stomach, half way inside. My legs, where still hanging out. I painfully tried to pull myself up. But I could not move my leg…it was broken. I was so weak…slipping again…I looked up through pain driven tears. The Grim was pulling a sai out of his back.
I was confused…
But then, I saw it.
Raphael was standing, lowering his arm slowly.
“RRAGHH!!” The Grim roared. “YOU FOOL!!!”
Jumping, dodging attacks, Raphael ran towards me…
I felt myself being lifted…
I couldn’t really see…
Couldn’t really…
Couldn’t………

Hehee!! I am so glad that you enjoyed that section ^.- Don't worry, after this there is only one more update!!
Enjoy:
I will never forget that night. It’s been a week, or two…I don’t know. I owe my life to the three turtles. As I have been told, they barely made it out. Only holding the army off until they had grabbed both The Phantom and myself. The Grim wasn’t down for long, but they were gone before then. They were three once again for those few short moments. Fighting side by side. But it still wasn’t enough. Perhaps a small step closer to being brothers once again.
Apparently I had been in an unconscious, dream-like state for many days afterward. They didn’t know if I would ever wake. The only thing that I remember was at one time I awoke, in a half-conscious mind. I remember not knowing where I was, confused. I couldn’t move. I could only open my eyes. Everything was blurry. I couldn’t feel anything, no pain, no sensations. I only saw a vision of the room around me. Donatello’s room… and I saw, just in a blur, someone sitting on a chair in the far corner. The figure was hunched…looked like it had been there for days… I tried to lift my head, speak…but I couldn’t. Then to my surprise, the figure spoke, with shaky breath.
“I…I-I know you can’t hear me…but…I…”
I recognized that voice…but I couldn’t think…couldn’t concentrate…
“I…” The voice croaked, “…you have no idea…how hard it is to see you like this…”
Silence.
“To see you…so fragile…so…broken…”
Silence.
“I don’t know if you’ll ever wake up…I-I…I…ughh!” The figure buried it’s head in it’s hands. “It’s all because of me…It’s all my fault!”
Silence.
“I quit…I-I stopped working for The Grim…I thought about what you had said…about Michelangelo……and about me……you were right. I had become a monster…pulled into a lie created by The Grim…a trap that I couldn’t escape…I thought I could avenge Michelangelo…erase my anger…my pain…but the Raphael in me died when Mike did……for so long I was just fooling myself…I caused you and your brother so much pain…I-I…”
Silence.
“I…I am so sorry…so………so sorry…”
There was a sudden rustle as the figure stood up. It’s face was damp. I felt his hand rest on my leg, which was buried in a cast.
“If you ever need me…” He turned away. “Just look over your shoulder…”
That was the last thing that I remember…because I must have been swallowed into the darkness…again.

Heres the final post!!!!! O.O Honestly, thank you so much for reading it. It has meant a lot to me. You can read 'Retrospect' after this ^.-
Enjoy:
Today I am leaving, going back home. Having lived the nightmare, it was time to move on. I know that Donatello wishes for me to stay longer, for my injuries are not even close to being healed. But I have to leave. Phantom left with no warning, a couple nights ago. It’s amazing that he survived…its amazing that I survived. I owe it all to Donatello. I am forever in his debt. Same goes for Leonardo……and Raphael. The Grim will pay. That much I know. He will pay.
“You sure you have everything?” Donatello asked. I took one last look at his home.
“Yes, I think so.”
“Shouldn’t you at least wait until daylight? Now that The Grim’s army is out searching for you, it isn’t safe.”
“All the more to go at night.” I winked and started out the door, walking slightly awkwardly with my cast. I soaked in the wonderful night.
“You’ll visit, right?”
I smiled and suddenly whipped around, embracing Donatello in a hug. I buried my face into his shoulder.
“Of course… I-I don’t know what to say…You’ve done so much for me…I-”
“Don’t even worry about it.”
“I’ve caused you so much trouble …so much…”
“No. Just the opposite…you’ve helped us so much…because of you, now…one day my brothers will come back again. I know it.” He squeezed tighter and let me go. We both looked up at the sun, poking through the horizon.
Donatello smiled and looked at the magnificent sky, “Besides…the sun will always rise again…”
I smiled, blinking a tear away. I couldn’t help but think of Raphael at that moment.
“Thank you.”
He nodded and I began to walk towards the rising sun, not looking back…
I am not sure why I recalled that story…I guess it keeps my mind off of the present. I haven’t seen those turtle brothers in ages. I wonder what ever happened to them. That night on the roof was fate itself. So many lives changed after that. I was so young, so foolish. If only I had known…If only… So foolish!! It’s been four months since I have seen Phantom…four long months. Alone. It’s tearing me apart. Somehow I have survived. Living my life out as a traveler. The only thing that keeps me going is that phrase that Donatello said,
“The sun will always rise again.”
I remember it each day. I learned so much that night. Even though times may seem like they are the worst....there is always hope...always. Even if it takes all of your strength...you must accept the ones that you have lost…you must recall their existence…or they will truly be gone.....Just like a memory.......they will be gone.....
Gone.
