Have you ever woken up one day and just knew
this would be one of the worst days of your life?

I have.. Confused

It all started this very morning...

I had woken up as usual, and was getting dressed..
Then all that usually damn things happen..
Confused

Can't find matching socks, you put your t-shirt on
the wrong way... no clean pants.. You toothpaste is empty.
And so on.... Well, I was off to breakfast and noticed Raph had taken the
last of the cereal. I loved that cereal, but I didn't complain, so
I took a loaf of bread and milk and ham.

I'm just glad it's Saturday, cause if this stuff happened at school, I
wouldn'te be able to handle it..

Mikey and me were watching our favourite shows on TV, when suddenly the electricity shut off. All the lights faded and the TV blacked out.
Man!! I got so mad!! Mad

Leo and Don came and Don tried to fix it, but couldn't..
I shrugged and volunteered to go out and check the power.
So I did, followed by Leo. We checked and then didn't understand.
The power wasn't turned off, and all the other lights were on in the rest of the city.

" Maybe we're using too much power in the lair.." i said, looking at Leo.
He nodded, and then looked up. " I think we should check topside.." he said, and headed for the ladder. I followed.

When we got topside, nothing seemed unusual.
There were people walking in the streets, older women and men, and bla bla..

But I could still sense something was wrong.
I looked at Leo, and somehow I knew he felt the same as I did about this.
I then glanced towards the park, and got a tingly feeling.
" You alright?" Leo asked and looked at me. He knew that whenever I
felt something like this, something was wrong.
" I suddenly got a weird feeling coming from the park. Let's check it out!" I said, and we headed over there.

Leo and I looked around in the park. It was dark and lonely in there. Nobody was around. Well, of course no one are crazy like us and wander around 1 AM at night in a dark park all alone. Figures.....

Suddenly I could hear a voice. " Heeelp meee...." it said, and I froze on the spot, looking around. " Cassie, you alright?" Leo asked and put his and on my shoulder.
" Didn't you just hear that?" I asked and looked at him. He gave me a confused look. " Hear what? I didn't hear anything." he said. I heard the voice again, and felt a chill inside of me as I looked around, trying to spot whoever it was that tried talking to me.

The voice echoed in my head, and I started feeling dizzy.
My body got cold, and I knew I was having an "Evil glimpse".
Man I hated it when that happened. Then I suddenly saw a blurry
figure standing in front of me, reaching a hand out.
I gasped as I recognized who it was. "Please....Help me...." she begged.
She looked like a ghost, as I could see right through her.
I didn't do anything. I just stood there, staring at her with wide opened eyes.

After a minute she then lowered her hand. Her eyes showed sorrow and sadness
as she suddenly vanished in thin air. Right after I got a sting of pain in
my head and a vision came to me. A blurry figure laughed evilly as it brutally
sliced someone open. I screamed, and then everything got black.

" Cassie! Cassie! Wake up!" I heard a distant voice, and then a gently stroke against my cheek. A slight whimper came from my lips as I felt pain in the back of my head. I must have hit it pretty hard. I opened my eyes and looked right into Leo's worried eyes. He gently lifted me up in his arms.
" Oww...." was the first thing I said. " Let's get you home." Leo said, and carried me all the way back to the lair.

Don helped me wrap my head as he had noticed it was bleeding.
I let out a few sounds as the pain was pretty big.
" There. All done." Don said. I smiled thankfully at him and then gently slid off the desk I was sitting at in his lab.

Mikey was reading his comics as usual and Raph was killing his punching bag.
Figures, I thought and went over to the kitchen. I had gotten a sudden urge to
just stuff some chocolate chipped ice cream into my mouth and just eat it for the rest of the evening.

I placed myself in the couch and put on the TV.
My favourite cartoon was on, but for some reason I didn't pay much attention
to it this night. I slowly swallowed the ice cream piece and sighed.
Swat kats was on, and my ultimate fave cartoon. I tried to concentrate on it, and
managed to catch when T-Bone knocked out two villains, but after that, I must've
just fallen asleep.

Leo's point of view:
I had been training for just about three hours or so when I heard the TV turn on.
Then I heard the theme song that belonged to the cartoon Swat Kats playing.
I smiled, knowing it was Cassie's favourite TV-show.
The event in the park earlier had made me worry. Of course, I always worried
when Cassie had her moments when she sensed something wrong, but this time
it felt like something just wasn't right.

A few minutes later I went over to the TV area to relax and maybe watch something good. I sat down, but then noticed Cassie was asleep, curled up like a little kitten in the couch. I looked at her and smiled. She looked so peaceful, and very adorable too. I put a cover over her and decided to call it a night.
